Healthy And Tasty Cottage Cheese Stuffed Semolina Patties!



For cover:-
  1. Semolina – 1 cup
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  3. Dessicated coconut – 1 tbsp
  4. Oil – 1 tsp
  5. Finely chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
For stuffing:-
  1. Butter – 2 tbsp
  2. Finely chopped tomatoes – 1
  3. Pav bhaji masala – 1 tsp
  4. Chaat masala – 1/4 tsp
  5. Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp
  6. Small cubes of cottage cheese – 200g
  7. Finely chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
  8. Oil and salt – as preferred


  1. Heat two cups of water in a bowl.
  2. Once the water begins to boil, add Semolina and ginger garlic paste, cover the container for two minutes and mix well.
  3. Add oil, cover for two more minutes and cook.
  4. Turn the heat off and the mixture should be in the form of a thick paste.
  5. Divide this mixture into fifteen parts, with greased hands make 15 balls from the divided parts.
  6. Prepare the stuffing by heating butter in a pan, chopped tomatoes, and after 3 to 4 minutes add pav bhaji masala, Chaat masala, tomato sauce, salt, mix well and  turn the heat off.
  7. Let the mixture cool down.
  8. Make depression in the balls prepared, stuff the stuffing, add 1 tsp of grated cottage cheese and make it into a patty.
  9. Heat some oil in a non stick pan, put the prepared patties on the pan and wait till it becomes golden brown.
  10. Flip it on the other side and wait for the other side to turn golden brown.
  11. Garnish with chopped coriander, serve hot with green chutney.
