Ingredients :-

  1. All purpose flour – 50gm
  2. Chickpea flour – 200 gm
  3. Crushed onion – 1 cup
  4. Crushed Carrom seeds (ajwain) – 2 tsp
  5. Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
  6. Salt – to taste
  7. Oil – 1 tbsp
  8. Turmeric – 1 tsp
  9. Oil – to fry
For Accompaniments :-
Green chutney

Method :-

  1. In a bowl, mix all purpose flour and chickpea flour thoroughly.
  2. Add crushed Carrom seeds, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, oil and mix well.
  3. Add crushed onion paste and knead a firm dough and keep it aside for an hour.
  4. Prepare thin rotis, cut it into strips and fry in oil on medium flame.
  5. Serve hot with green chutney.
