Fusion Food : Bread Pulao!

Ingredients :-

  1. Big bread slices – 2
  2. Peas – 1 bowl
  3. Finely chopped french beans – 1 bowl
  4. Vertically cut cabbage – 1 bowl
  5. Finely chopped carrots – 4
  6. Chopped tomatoes – 2
  7. Coconut milk – 1 cup
  8. Lemon juice – 1
  9. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  10. Cloves – 3 – 4
  11. Cardamom pods – 2 to 3
  12. Cinnamon stick – 1
  13. Curry leaves and salt – as required
  14. Chilli ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  15. Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  16. Chopped onion – 1

Method :-

  1. Cut bread slices into medium to small sized squares and fry in the oil till golden brown and keep it aside.
  2. Mix chilli ginger garlic paste and coconut milk and keep it aside.
  3. Saute onion in vegetable oil till golden brown.
  4. Add cardamon pods, cloves, cinnamon stick, curry leaves in it and saute well.
  5. Add chilli ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, vegetables, mix well and cook them.
  6. Add coconut milk mixture, lemon juice and mix well.
  7. Bring this mixture to a boil and once done, add the fried bread squares, mix well and cook for two minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
