Dabeli Dosa: Dosa With A Twist!

Ingredients:-

1. Oil – 1 tbsp
2. Asafoetida – 1 tsp
3. Dabeli masala – 1/2 cup
4. Mashed potatoes – 2 cups
5. Chilli powder – 2 tsp
6. Salt – to taste
7. Garam masala – 1 tsp
8. Lemon juice – 1 tsp
9. Sugar – 1 tsp
10. Chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
11. Dosa batter – 1 cup
12. Masala peanuts – 2 tbsp
13. Chopped onion – 1 tbsp
For accompaniments:-
Coconut chutney

Method:-

1. Heat some oil in a pan, add asafoetida, chopped onion, and saute well.
2. Add dabeli masala in it and mix well till the masala is evenly mixed.
3. Add mashed potatoes and mix well.
4. Add the dry spices and mix well.
5. Add lemon, sugar, salt, and finely chopped coriander and mix well.
6. Prepare normal, plain dosa on a non stick pan.
7. Stuff and spread the prepared dabeli mixture.
8. Roll the dosa and cut it into medium sized pieces.
9. Garnish with masala peanuts, chopped coriander and serve with coconut chutney.
