Dussehra Special : Stuffed Saffron Laddoos

Ingredients:-

  1. Semolina – 1 cup
  2. Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  3. Milk – 2 cups
  4. Sweetened milk contain (mawa) – 1/4 cup
  5. Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  6. Saffron infused in milk – 1 to 2 tsp
  7. Sugar – 1 cup
For filling:-
  1. Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
  2. Cashew almond powder – 2 tbsp
  3. Dessicated coconut – 1 tbsp
  4. Sugar sprinklers – 1 to 2 tsp
For garnishing:-
Cashews and almonds

Method:-

  1. Prepare the filling by gathering and mixing all its ingredients together.
  2. Heat some vegetable oil in a pan, add Semolina and saute well.
  3. Add milk, sugar, saffron milk, cardamon powder, sweetened milk contain and mix well.
  4. Cook until the mixture is semi solid and thick. Keep it aside to cool.
  5. Prepare lemon sized balls of this mixture, make a depression in it, add stuffing and then shape them.
  6. Garnish with cashews, almonds and sugar sprinklers and serve.
