Enjoy Your Summer With This Homemade Rose Coconut Ice Cream!


  1. Milk – 1 litre
  2. Dessicated coconut- 50 gm
  3. Cream – 200 gm
  4. Cornflour – 1 tbsp
  5. Gulkand or rose petals in sugar syrup / rose syrup – 6 tbsp / 1 cup
  6. Sugar – as preferred and according to the syrup or Gulkand taken
For garnishing:-
Chopped almonds and pistachios


  1. In a vessel, boil some milk. Once it has cooled down, add Cornflour in it and stir well.
  2. Once the milk has thickened, add Dessicated coconut, Gulkand or rose syrup, fresh cream and mix well.
  3. Pour this ready mixture in an aluminium container and freeze it for a couple of hours.
  4. Once the mix has frozen well, put this in a blender and blend well.
  5. Pour this mixture again in the aluminium container.
  6. Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios and keep it in the freezer to set.
  7. Once set, serve chilled.
