Exotic Friday: Mixed Herb Rice

Ingredients:-

  1. Cooked rice- 2 cups
  2. Vegetable oil- 2 tbsp
  3. Bay leaf- 2
  4. Finely chopped fenugreek- 2 tbsp
  5. Finely chopped onion- 1 tbsp
  6. Finely chopped coriander- 1 tbsp
  7. Finely chopped green garlic- 1 tbsp
  8. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  9. Chilli flakes- 1/2 tsp
  10. Mixed herbs- 1 tsp
  11. Salt – to taste
  12. Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
  13. Cloves – 2
  14. Chaat masala – 1 tsp
  15. Cumin seeds powder- 1 tsp
For garnishing:-
Chilli flakes.

Method:-

  1. Heat some vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves and saute well.
  2. Add finely chopped fenugreek, green garlic and cook well.
  3. Add salt, Chaat masala, cumin seeds powder, and mix well.
  4. Add mixed herbs, chilli flakes, and finely chopped coriander and mix well.
  5. Garnish with chilli flakes and serve hot.
