Friday Special : Green Pulao Burger

Ingredients :-

1. Green pulao – 1/2 cup
2. Burger bun – 2
3. Sliced onions – 2
4. Sliced tomatoes – 2
5. Butter – as preferred
6. Green chutney – 2 tbsp
7. Cheese – 1 cube
For accompaniments :-
Chips and an appetizer.
For green pulao:-
1. Boiled basmati rice – 1/2 cup
2. Mashed potatoes – 2 tbsp
3. Mashed green peas – 1 tbsp
4. Chilli ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
5. Coriander, spinach, spearmint paste – 1 tbsp
6. Biryani masala – 2 tbsp
7. Salt – to taste
8. Vegetable oil / oil – 1 tbsp
9. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
10. Lemon juice – 2 tsp
11. Grated cottage cheese and cheese – 1 tbsp each
12. Onion puree – 1/2 cup

Method:-

For pulao
1. Keep rice bit moist so that it is easier to prepare tikkis.
2. Heat some oil/ vegetable oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chilli ginger garlic paste, onion puree and saute well.
3. Add mashed green peas, mashed potatoes and mix well.
4. Add coriander spinach and spearmint paste, biryani masala and mix well.
5. Add salt, lemon juice, cooked rice and mix well.
6. Finally, add grated cheese and cottage cheese and mix well.
7. Keep it aside to cool.
For burger
8. After the pulao is cooled, prepare tikkis the size of the burger buns, coat it with cornflour on both the sides, and shallow fry them in a pan using oil or vegetable oil.
9. Cut the bun from the middle, and toast it on the pan using butter.
10. In a serving plate, take the cut burger bun, spread green chutney on both the buns, put the prepared tikkis, add sliced onions, tomatoes grated cheese on one bun and cover it with another bun and serve it with some chips and an appetizer.
