Healthy Winter Dessert : Wholewheat Dates Muffin

Ingredients:-

  1. White dates – 1 cup
  2. Milk – 1/2 cup
  3. Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  4. Oil – 1 tsp
  5. Sugar – 1 tbsp
  6. Wheat flour – 1 1/2 cup
  7. Chocolate essence – 2 drops
  8. Cashew nuts – 1 tbsp
For accompaniments:-
Tea or coffee

Method:-

  1. Heat some milk in a pan and add white dates in it and let it soak for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. Add sugar in it and then blend it in the blender till it becomes a smooth paste.
  3. Mix the prepared paste into the wheat flour and baking soda and mix well.
  4. Mix essence to oil and then add it to the mixture and mix well.
  5. Pour this prepared mixture into moulds and bake it in the oven for fifteen minutes at 180 degrees.
  6. Serve hot with hot tea or coffee.
