Iron Packed And Delicious Beetroot Halwa!

Ingredients:-

  1. Grated beetroot – 2 cups
  2. Milk – 2 cups
  3. Sweetened milk contain – 1 cup
  4. Fresh cream – 1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder – 2 tsp
  6. Nutmeg powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Rose essence – 1 to 2 drops
  8. Sugar – 1 cup
  9. Red food color – 1/4 tsp
For garnishing:-
Cashews and almonds cut in half.

Method:-

  1. Heat some milk in a pan and bring it to boil.
  2. Add grated beetroot in the boiling milk, and cook it.
  3. Once the beetroot is half cooked, add sugar and milk contain and cook till most of the water evaporates.
  4. Add cardamon powder and nutmeg powder and mix well.
  5. Add rose essence and red food colour and mix well.
  6. Finally add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and mix well.
  7. Serve hot in a bowl, garnished with cut cashews and almonds.
