Janmashthami Special: Colourful Creamy Drops In Dry Fruit Milk

Ingredients:-

For cream drops
  1. Semolina – 1 cup
  2. Milk – 2 cups
  3. Sweetened milk contain – 1/2 cup
  4. Dessicated coconut – 1/2 cup
  5. Castor sugar – 1 cup
For milky syrup:-
  1. Milk – 4 cups
  2. Sugar  – 1 cup
  3. Sweetened milk contain  – 1 cup
  4. Dessicated coconut  – 1 cup
  5. Fresh cream – 1medium bowl
Food colour and essences combination:-
  1. Green colour with Khus essence
  2. Yellow colour with mango or pineapple essence
  3. Red colour with rose essence
  4. Chocolate or brown colour with vanilla essence
  5. Keep one part white.
For garnishing:-
Chopped almonds and pistachios.

Method:-

  1. Heat a pan add Semolina, sweetened milk contain, dessicated coconut, milk, castor sugar and prepare a semi solid soft mixture.
  2. Stir continuously, turn the heat off and keep the mixture aside to cool.
  3. In another pan heat milk, add sugar, dessicated coconut, milk contain, and put it to boil, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once the mixture has cooled down, divide it in six parts and add colours and food essence accordingly. Add the essence and the colour to the divided parts by mixing them in 1 tsp of milk.
  5. Make small balls from the divided parts.
  6. Slowly, put the prepared balls in the boiling milk.
  7. Add chopped almonds and pistachios in the boiling milk.
  8. Add the fresh cream in the milk and stir well.
  9. Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios and serve chilled.
