Mexican Dhokla With Kiwi Salsa Dip: A Surprise Of Flavours!

Ingredients:-

  1. Dhokla batter – 2 cups
  2. Chopped green chilies – 1/2 tsp
  3. Mixed herbs – 1 tsp
  4. Pizza masala – 2 tsp
  5. Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
  6. Salt – to taste
  7. Corn kernels – 1 tbsp
  8. Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
  9. Cooking soda – 1/2 tsp
For kiwi salsa:-
  1. Sesame seeds – 2 tsp
  2. Chopped kiwi -2 tbsp
  3. Roasted and finely chopped green peppers – 2 tbsp
  4. Oregano – 2 tsp
  5. Chilli flakes – 2 tsp
  6. Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
  7. Salt – to taste
  8. Mixed herbs – 1 tsp

Method:-

  1. In a bowl, mix Dhokla batter with chopped green chillies, Oregano, Chilli flakes, mixed herbs, corn, salt, black pepper powder, pizza masala, cooking soda and mix well.
  2. Grease a plate with oil and pour this batter in the plate and steam it in the steamer.
  3. For kiwi salsa, heat some oil in a pan, add kiwi pulp and saute well.
  4. Add sautéed and chopped green peppers, mixed herbs, Chilli flakes, oregano, black pepper powder, salt, and mix well.
  5. Cut the ready Dhokla into triangles, add a dollop of the prepared kiwi salsa sauce into it and serve hot.
