Presenting Dosa Lasagna : A Melange Of Two Different Cuisines!


  1. Prepared dosa – 4 (Soft And Not crispy)
  2. Green chutney – 2 tbsp
  3. Red garlic chutney – 2 tbsp
  4. Coconut chutney – 2 tbsp
  5. Dessicated coconut – 1 tbsp
  6. Chopped boiled potatoes – 1 cup
  7. Boiled peas – 1 cup
  8. Chopped onion, tomatoes, green chillies – 1/2 cup
  9. Urad dal – 1 tsp
  10. Cumin seeds and mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  11. Salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder – as preferred
  12. Sambar Masala – 2 tsp
  13. Finely chopped coriander – 1 tbsp
  14. Oil – 1 tbsp
  15. Coconut milk – 1/2 cup
For garnishing:-
Dessicated coconut, grated cheese and red chillies


  1. In a pan, heat some oil, add cumin, urad dal and mustard seeds and wait till it crackles.
  2. Once this mix has turned golden brown, add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, Sambar Masala, and mix well.
  4. Add coconut milk, and let it boil for some time.
  5. Add chopped potatoes, peas, and cook for some time.
  6. Grease an oven proof container with oil. Add one dosa, spread some green chutney on it, spread the prepared stuffing on it. Put another dosa, spread red garlic chutney, spread the prepared stuffing and create layers so on and so forth. You can also add grated cheese over the layers.
  7. Once you put the top layer of dosa, add Dessicated coconut, grated cheese and put strips of red chillies and bake it in the oven for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
