Presenting Green Glory Dhokla Filled With Leafy Greens!

Ingredients:-

  1. Spinach paste – 1 cup
  2. Fenugreek paste – 1/2 cup
  3. Coriander and mint paste – 2 tbsp
  4. Ginger and chillies paste – 1 tbsp
  5. Salt – to taste
  6. Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  7. Chickpea flour – 2 cups
  8. Eno fruit salt – 2 tsp
For tempering:-
  1. Oil – 1 tbsp
  2. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  3. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
For garnishing:-
Dessicated coconut and sesame seeds

Method:-

  1. In a bowl mix spinach paste, chickpea flour, fenugreek paste, coriander and mint paste and mix well.
  2. Add salt, ginger and chilli paste and prepare a batter.
  3. Grease a plate with high edges. Add fruit salt, mix well and pour it into the greased plate.
  4. Steam this plate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Keep it aside to cool.
  6. Once it has cooled down cut medium sized pieces of it.
  7. Prepare the temper and add it onto the cut pieces.
  8. Garnish with dessicated coconut and serve hot in a serving plate.
