Presenting Peas Dhokla!


  1. Coarsely ground fresh green peas – 1 cup
  2. Semolina – 1/2 cup
  3. Green chilli – as preferred
  4. Garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
  5. Fruit salt – as pinch
  6. Salt – to tasttaste
  7. Fresh curd – 1/2 cup
  8. Fresh coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
  9. Oil – for greasing
  10. Oil – for tempering
  11. Curry leaves, mustard seeds, chillies – for tempering
For accompaniments :-
Green chutney


  1. Take a bowl and soak semolina in curd for ten minutes.
  2. Prepare a paste of green chilli, garlic paste and coriander leaves
  3. Add this prepared paste to coarsely ground peas paste.
  4. Grease a microwave pot with oil, pour the mixture and cook in microwave for about five minutes.
  5. Coat the upper part of dhokla with milk and leave it for five minute.
  6. Heat some oil in a pan for tempering, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies and wait till it crackles. Once it is prepared pour it over the prepared dhokla and serve hot with green chutney.
