Presenting Protein Packed Healthy Lentil Salad

Ingredients :-

  1. Gram lentil (mung dal)  – 1/2 cup
  2. Yellow split peas (chana dal) – 1/4 cup
  3. Water – 2/3 cup
  4. Beans (sauted) – 1/2 cup
  5. Oil – 2 tbsp
  6. Finely chopped green chillies – 2
  7. Finely chopped cucumber – 1/2 cup
  8. Dessicated coconut – 1/2 cup
  9. Finely chopped coriander – 1/4 cup
  10. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  11. Salt – to taste
  12. Curry leaves – 2 – 3
For garnishing :-
Cucumber and green chillies

Method :-

  1. Soak all the lentils separately for two hours.
  2. Take soaked green gram, put it in a casserole, add 1/3 cup of water and microwave it for 2 minutes without covering it.
  3. Take soaked yellow split peas, put it in a casserole, add 1/3 cup water and microwave it for 4 minutes without covering it.
  4. Cook it again for 5 minutes.
  5. Put all the lentils in a dish, add finely chopped green chillies, curry leaves and microwave for 2 minutes.
  6. Mix all the hot ingredients properly.
  7. Serve it in a serving bowl, garnish with cut cucumber and chillies and serve hot.
