Presenting Sago (Sabudana) Paratha!


  1. Sago or sabudana – 1 cup
  2. Boiled potatoes – 2
  3. Cumin seeds powder – 1/2 tsp
  4. Peanuts – 3 tbsp
  5. Small grated ginger
  6. Finely chopped coriander- 1/4 cup
  7. Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  8. Castor sugar – 1 tsp
  9. Oil – for saute


  1. Rinse sago properly and soak for 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Mash the boiled potatoes, and add the soaked sago in it.
  3. Add cumin seeds powder, peanuts, ginger, lemon juice, castor sugar, lemon juice, and coriander, salt and knead a dough.
  4. Make medium sized balls from the dough, roll them out and oil your palms so that it does not stick much.
  5. Heat a pan, and then saute the paratha on it with a little oil.
  6. Flip once it is golden brown from one side.
  7. Serve once both the sides are properly done.
