Rakshabandhan Special : Surprise Everyone With This Rakhi Gujiya!



For Gujiya:-
  1. All purpose flour – 1/2 cup
  2. Semolina – 1 tbsp
  3. Milk contain (mawa) sauted – 3 tbsp
  4. Dessicated coconut – 1 tbsp
  5. Powdered sugar – 2 tbsp
  6. Nutmeg powder and cardamom powder – 1 tsp each
  7. Milk – 2 tbsp
  8. Oil – for mohun
  9. Vegetable oil / oil – for frying
For colorful balls:-
  1. Cottage cheese (grated) – 1 1/2 cup
  2. Milk contain  (mawa) – 1 1/2 cup
  3. Powdered sugar – 1 tbsp
  4. Cardamom powder – a pinch
  5. Edible food color  (red, yellow and green) – 1 drop each
  6. Cocoa powder – 1 tsp
  7. Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
For garnishing:-
Coloured all purpose flour stripes and colorful sugar balls.


For Gujiya:-
  1. In a bowl mix all purpose flour and Semolina, and add hot oil or mohun in it.
  2. Add milk in it and knead a dough and keep it aside.
  3. In the sauted milk contain add powdered sugar, dessicated coconut, nutmeg powder, cardamon powder and mix well.
  4. Roll two medium sized flat puris of the all purpose flour dough.
  5. Add the prepared stuffing with milk contain information it,  seal it with other puri and seal the sides by twisting the two.
  6. Prepare strips of the dough, colour them with edible colours and deep fry them along with the prepared Gujiyas.
For colourful balls:-
  1. Mix grated cottage cheese with milk contain, sugar powder, powdered cardamom, lemon juice and mix well.
  2. Divide this mixture into three parts and one food colour in each of the divided parts.
  3. Add cocoa powder in the divided parts.
  4. Make medium sized balls of the parts and serve with prepared gujiyas.
