Satiate Your Sweet Tooth With This Recipe Of Instant Jalebi



  1. All purpose flour – 1/2 cup
  2. Chickpea flour – 2 tbsp
  3. Semolina – 1tbsp
  4. Non sour curd – 2 tbsp
  5. Water – 3 tbsp
  6. Salt – a pinch
  7. Eno fruit salt – little less than 1/4 tsp
  8. Oil and vegetable oil – 1/4 cup and 3/4 cup
  9. Sugar – 1/2 cup


  1. In a bowl mix all purpose flour, Semolina, chickpea flour, curd and water.
  2. Once the ingredients are mixed well, add eno fruit salt, and stir it in one direction.
  3. The batter should be of medium consistency i.e. not too thick and not too thin.
  4. In a container, put sugar and add enough water that sugar submerges and prepare sugar syrup.
  5. Heat the mixture of oil and vegetable oil in a pan.
  6. Put the prepared batter in a squeeze bottle and make jalebis in the heated oil.
  7. Once the jalebis turn golden brown turn it upside down and let the other side be done.
  8. Strain the readied jalebis from excess oil and keep it aside for a minute.
  9. Put the jalebis in the sugar syrup and serve hot.
