Saturday Party Special Starter : Paneer Vegetable Tikki

Ingredients :-

1. Grated cottage cheese – 1 cup
2. Finely Chopped carrot – 1 tbsp
3. Finely chopped capsicum – 1 tbsp
4. Finely chopped mint – 1 tsp
5. Semolina – 1/2 cup
6. Semi crushed oats / cornflakes – 1/2 cup
7. Red chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
8. Green chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
9. Salt – to taste
10. Finely chopped coriander – 1 tsp
11. Baking powder – 1 tsp
For garnishing :-
Carrot sticks and red chilli sauce

Method :-

1. In a bowl add grated cottage cheese, finely chopped carrots, capsicum, mint, red and green chilli sauce, crushed oats or cornflakes, semolina, coriander and salt and mix well.
2. Add the baking powder in the end.
3. Make medium sized balls of it and put the carrot stick on it.
4. Steam the prepared balls in a dhokla/idli patra for 10 minutes.
5. Let them cool for five minutes, garnish with red chilli sauce and serve.
