Sunday Dinner Special : Paneer Chilli Rice!

Ingredients :-

For paneer chilli
1. Cottage cheese -150 gm
2. Oil – 1 tbsp
3. Finely chopped garlic – 1 tsp
4. Finely grated ginger – 1 tsp
5. Chopped green chilli – 1 – 2
6. Vertically cut onions – 1
7. Vertically cut capsicum – 1
8. Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
9. Soy sauce – 1 1/4 tsp
10. Corn flour – 1 tsp
11. Salt and pepper – to taste
For pulao:-
12. Rice – 1 cup
13. Red chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
14. Green chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
15. Soy sauce – 1/2 tbsp
16. Salt

Method:-

For paneer chilli :-
1. Heat some oil in a pan and add garlic and saute.
2. Add ginger and chilli and saute till golden brown.
3. Keep the flame on high for two minutes.
4. Add capsicum and stir continuously till golden brown.
5. In 1/4 cup of water, add soy sauce, chilli sauce, salt and pepper and add it in the pan and stir well.
6. Add the pieces of cottage cheese and saute till golden brown.
7. Mix 1 tsp of cornflour in water so that it becomes a paste and add it in the pan.
8. Mix well and turn the stove off after it is cooked.
For rice:-
9. Cook rice in such a way that the grains don’t stick to each other.
10. Add all the sauces along with salt.
11. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a microwave safe bowl, add the prepared rice and paneer chilli, mix well and heat it in the microwave for 3 minutes.
12. Serve hot!
