The Chinese Tadka : Manchurian Paratha!


Ingredients :-

1. All purpose flour – 2 cups
2. Cornflour – 1/2 cup
3. Chilli ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
4. Grated cabbage – 2 tbsp
5. Grated carrot – 2 tbsp
6. Finely chopped capsicum – 1 tbsp
7. Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
8. Soy sauce – 3 tbsp
9. Red/green chilli sauce – 1 tbsp each
10. Ajinomoto – 1 tsp
11. Oil – 2 tbsp
12. Salt – to taste
13. Chopped onion – 2 tbsp


1. Mix all purpose flour and cornflour together.
2. Add salt, oil and mix well.
3. Add all the cut vegetables, chilli ginger garlic paste and mix well.
4. Add all the aauces, ajinomoto, mix well, and add water if necessary.
5. Knead the flour and keep it aside for an hour.
6. Roll it like a normal paratha and toast it on a non stick pan.
7. Flip it on the other side when golden brown and let the other side cook well.
8. Serve hot with schezwan dip.
