  1. Sugar – 2 cups
  2. Water – 1 cup
  3. Cardamom (elaichi) powder – 1 teaspoon
  4. Yellow food colour – 1 teaspoon
  5. Bread – 10 slices
  6. Vegetable oil (ghee) – 2 cups
  7. Rose petals – 8-10 petals


  1. Cut the sides of the bread.
  2. Cut the bread into round shape and deep fry them in the vegetable oil (ghee).
  3. Take water in a pan, add sugar in it and heat it for 10 minutes make sure that the sugar is dissolved properly.
  4. After the syrup is ready, add cardamom (elaichi) powder in it. Add the food colour in it
  5. Add the fried bread in the syrup and keep it for five minutes.
  6. Take them out and serve them by garnishing with rose petals.
