Ingredients:-

1. Okra – 200gm
2. Chickpea flour or besan – 1 cup
3. Chopped onions – 1/2 cup
4. Chopped tomatoes – 1/2 cup
5. Garlic ginger chilli paste – 1 tbsp
6. Curd – 1 cup
7. Punjabi garam masala – 1 tsp
8. Turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder – 2 tsp each
9. Fennel seeds powder – 1 – 2 tsp
10. Fresh coriander seeds – 2 tsp
11. Salt – to taste
12. Peanut powder – 1 tbsp
13. Oil / vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
14. Oil – to fry
For garnishing:-
Lemon juice and freshly chopped coriander.

Method:-

1. Vertically cut the okra, dryly coat them with chickpea flour.
2. Take some fennel powder in a bowl, add coriander powder, peanut powder, salt, garam masala and mix well.
3. Stuff the prepared mixture into okra.
4. Add little water in the chickpea flour and make it into a paste.
5. Dip the okra and coat it like pakoras.
6. Fry them till golden brown.
7. Heat some oil in a pan, add chilli ginger garlic paste and saute well.
8. Add chopped onions, tomatoes and saute till golden brown.
9. Add the dry masala (turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin seeds powder), punjabi masala, fennel seeds powder and mix well.
10. Add curd and mix well till it is consistent, add water as required and let it cook.
11. Add the fried okra into the prepared gravy and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
12. Add lemon juice and freshly chopped coriander and serve hot.
