This Recipe Of Paneer Laziz Will Make You Forget The Restaurant Food!


Ingredients :-

1. Cottage cheese (paneer) square cubes – 200 gm
2. Capsicum vertically cut – 100gm
3. Chopped tomatoes – 1 cup
4. Ginger garlic chilli paste – 1 tbsp
5. Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
6. Dry masala powder – turmeric, chilli, coriander, cumin – 1 tsp
7. Salt – to taste
8. Punjabi garam masala – 1 tsp
9. Grated cheese and cottage cheese – 1 tbsp
10. Cream and coriander – 1 tbsp
11. Dry fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) – 1 tsp
12. Oil and vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
For 1/2 cup Punjabi gravy
13. Oil – 1 tbsp
14. Red chillies – 2
15. Garlic paste – 3 – 4 cloves
16. Bay leaf – 1
17. Clove – 1
18. Coriander seeds – 1/4 tsp
19. Onion paste – 50 gm
20. Garam Masala – 1 tsp
21. Coriander and cumin seeds – 1 tsp
22. Turmeric powder – a pinch
23. Butter – 1 1/2 tbsp
24. Cashew, melon seeds (magaj), poppy seeds (khus khus) paste – 50 gm
25. Tomato ketchup – less than 50 gm
26. Edible colour (yellow) – 2 drops
27. Salt – to taste
28. Water – approx
For garnishing:-
29. Golden brown fried onions, cashews and cream.


1. Fry the cottage cheese cubes to light golden brown.
2. Heat some vegetable oil in a pan and add garlic ginger chilli paste, garlic paste, vertically cut capsicum and sauté.
For gravy:-
3. Heat some oil in a pan and add chilli, garlic, ginger, bay leaf, cloves, paste of cloves and coriander seeds and sauté for 5 minutes.
4. Add onion paste in it and saute for 2 minutes, add the remaining ingredients and let it cook till it is light brown in color.
5. Add the butter, cashews, poppy seeds and melon seeds paste, tomato ketchup, and approximate amount of water and cook it for 5 minutes.
6. In the capsicum sautéed pan, add turmeric powder, salt, punjabi masala, dried fenugreek leaves, and chopped tomatoes and mix and cook well.
7. Add yellow gravy, and tomato puree to it and cook well.
8. Add grated cheese and cottage cheese, and fried cottage cheese pieces and mix well.
9. In the end, add cream and coriander.
10. Serve in a serving bowl and garnish with golden brown onion, cashews and cream.
