Try This Amazing Recipe Of Khaman With A Twist of Paneer Chilli!



  1. Chickpea flour – 3 cups
  2. Asafoetida – 1 tsp
  3. Lemon flower – 1/2 tsp
  4. Cooking soda – 1 tsp
  5. Oil – 1 tbsp
  6. Salt – to taste
  7. Grated cottage cheese – 2 tbsp
  8. Finely chopped capsicum – 2 tbsp
  9. Finely chopped cabbage – 1 tsp
  10. Chilli ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
  11. Finely chopped onion – 1 tbsp
  12. Red and green chilli sauce – 1 tsp
  13. Soy sauce – 1 tsp
  14. Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  15. Chilli powder – 1 tsp
For tempering:-
  1. Oil – 1 tbsp
  2. Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  3. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  4. Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
  5. Chopped green chillies – 2 tsp
  6. Curry leaves – 8 to 10
  7. Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
For garnishing:-
Dessicated coconut and chopped coriander.


  1. In a bowl mix chickpea flour, asafoetida, lemon flour, salt, cooking soda,  oil and mix well.
  2. Add finely chopped vegetables and grated cottage cheese and mix well.
  3. Add chilli ginger garlic paste, black pepper powder, chilli powder and mix.
  4. Add all the sauces and mix.
  5. Add water if required.
  6. Add cooking soda and prepare a thick batter.
  7. Grease a plate, pour the prepared batter in it and steam it for 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Once done, cut the Dhokla into pieces.
  9. Prepare tempering by heating oil, add then adding all the ingredients of tempering and wait till it crackles.
  10. Once the ingredients have begun to crackle, pour it over the cut dhokla.
  11. Garnish with dessicated coconut and chopped coriander and serve.
